TL;DR

The HD remaster of Bravely Default for Switch 2 retains some of the original's charm but falls short in graphical fidelity, especially for enemy models, due to limited updates from its 3DS origins. While gameplay remains solid, the visual upgrade feels underwhelming, making it a missed opportunity for a truly impressive launch title.
