Ceasefire reached after deadly Gaza rocket attack and days of violence.

A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip killed Palestinian laborer Abdullah Abu Jaba and seriously injured his brother, Hamad Abu Jaba. The missile hit an agricultural building site where the brothers were working near the southern border town of Shokeda. The men were apparently at the location in violation of IDF Home Front Command instructions, and there was no bomb shelter available for them to seek refuge. The recent fighting has killed five Palestinians and one Israeli. A labor rights group has pointed to the challenges faced by foreign workers in the country who are not familiar with safety precautions.
