Sudan's Unrest Continues Despite Humanitarian Pause.

Fierce fighting between the Sudanese armed forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continued for a second day, leaving dozens killed and sparking international concern. The clashes were sparked by a disagreement over the integration of the RSF into the military as part of a transition towards civilian rule. The UN has suspended operations in the country after three World Food Programme workers were killed. The pro-democracy Central Committee of Sudan Doctors reported 56 civilians killed and around 600 wounded. The African Union has sent a senior official to Sudan on a ceasefire mission.
