Deadly Strike on U.N. School in Gaza Leaves Scores Injured and Killed

A blast at a U.N. school in Gaza potentially killed and injured dozens of people, adding to the death toll in the enclave that has surpassed 12,000, according to Gaza's Ministry of Health. The United Nations Relief Works Agency Commissioner-General called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, stating that these attacks cannot become commonplace. The UNRWA also reported that the Israeli army has not authorized sufficient fuel for its humanitarian operations, while local Palestinian officials reported at least 15 people killed in a strike on a residence near Khan Younis. Over 1.6 million people have been displaced since October 7.
