Israeli Hostages Mistakenly Killed by IDF: Government Absent at Burial

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) mistakenly shot and killed three Israeli hostages in Gaza who had been taken captive by Hamas during a terror attack. The hostages were waving a white flag when they approached Israeli troops, but at least one soldier felt threatened and opened fire, killing two of the men immediately. The third hostage was wounded and ran back inside a building, but was later killed.
