Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman is demanding that the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) fire its president, Sally Kornbluth, over her handling of antisemitism on campus. Ackman, a vocal critic of Ivy League presidents who he believes have not done enough to combat campus antisemitism, made the demand on social media, pledging not to write a letter if Kornbluth is promptly terminated. Ackman's wife, Neri Oxman, a former professor at MIT, has also posted pro-Israel messages on her social media account. Ackman has also called for Harvard's president, Claudine Gay, to be fired.
