Hollywood Labor Negotiations: Writers and Actors on the Path to Resolution

The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) will resume negotiations over a new contract on Monday, aiming to end the strike that has paralyzed the entertainment industry for the past 75 days. SAG-AFTRA members are demanding a larger share of streaming revenue, improved compensation, working conditions, and safeguards against the use of artificial intelligence technologies. The Writers Guild of America recently reached an agreement with AMPTP, ending their strike.
