Hollywood Strikes: Residuals and Independent Producers' Interim Agreements

SAG-AFTRA will sign "interim agreements" with truly independent producers, allowing them to continue or start production during the strike as long as they are not affiliated with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers and agree to be bound retroactively to the eventual contract terms with the AMPTP. The guild has also provided a list of contracts that members can and cannot work under during the strike, including commercials, soap operas, music videos, and certain separately negotiated basic cable agreements.
