HYBE Trio Collab Sparks Backlash Over Controversial Lyrics
TL;DR
A HYBE collaboration featuring ILLIT, LE SSERAFIM, and KATSEYE released a video whose lyrics about ‘controversies’ and ‘hate’ sparked major online backlash. Fans divided over the message—some praising a defiant stance against hate, others deeming the lyrics cringe and doubting the groups’ narrative—while critics argue the backlash is fueled by real tensions around the company, including claims of racism, plagiarism, and mockery toward a marginalized group.
