Marvel's Post-Strike Release Shake-Up: Delays, Rescues, and First Look at Dogpool
TL;DR
The release dates for "Deadpool 3" and "Captain America 4" have been delayed by Disney as the studio reshuffles its theatrical release slate. "Deadpool 3" will now hit theaters on July 26, 2024, while "Captain America: Brave New World" has been pushed to Feb. 14, 2025. Other Marvel films, including "Thunderbolts" and the "Blade" reboot, have also seen release date changes. Additionally, Disney has delayed the prequel to "The Lion King" and vacated two unspecified feature dates. The delay of "Deadpool 3" leaves a gap in the summer blockbuster line-up for 2024.
