SAG-AFTRA and AMPTP suspend negotiations, causing confusion and frustration

Negotiations between striking actors represented by SAG-AFTRA and Hollywood production studios have been suspended after the two sides failed to reach an agreement on issues such as AI regulation and viewership-based pay. The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) accused SAG-AFTRA of being unproductive, while the union accused the studios of using "bully tactics."
