SAG-AFTRA and Studios Set to Resume Negotiations

SAG-AFTRA and Hollywood's top companies, including Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery, Disney, and NBCUniversal, have resumed negotiations after the actors' strike began in mid-July. The CEOs met with the union at SAG-AFTRA's national headquarters without federal mediators present, raising hopes for a swift resolution. However, there are still outstanding issues to resolve, including wage increases, revenue-sharing for streaming titles, and regulations for A.I. SAG-AFTRA's negotiating committee urged performers to continue their support on picket lines and solidarity events, stating they will remain on strike "as long as it takes."
