Christopher Nolan's Unmade Howard Hughes Biopic Influenced 'Oppenheimer' and Bond Directing Potential
TL;DR
Christopher Nolan reveals that he had written a script for a Howard Hughes biopic, but it never materialized due to Martin Scorsese's "The Aviator." However, the experience of distilling Hughes' life into a script helped Nolan in writing his upcoming film "Oppenheimer." While Nolan is not likely to revisit the Hughes script, he expresses interest in directing a James Bond movie, emphasizing the need for the right creative moment and full commitment to the character. "Oppenheimer" is set to release on July 21.
