TL;DR

Luca Guadagnino's 'After the Hunt' is a visually dark and psychologically tense drama set at Yale, featuring Julia Roberts as a scheming professor embroiled in a complex sexual accusation story. The film explores themes of social justice, morality, and academic politics, but its muddled plot and ambiguous character motivations leave viewers confused and unsatisfied, despite strong performances and craft.
