Thanksgiving Box Office Shatters Records with 'Moana 2,' 'Wicked,' and 'Gladiator II'
TL;DR
The Thanksgiving box office hit a record $420 million, driven by the success of 'Moana 2,' 'Wicked,' and 'Gladiator II.' This surpassed the previous record of $315 million set in 2018. 'Moana 2' led with $221 million over five days, followed by 'Wicked' with $117.5 million, and 'Gladiator II' with $44 million. The strong performance of these films helped reduce the year-to-date box office deficit and demonstrated the potential for multiple blockbusters to succeed simultaneously.
