FFXIV Fan Fest 2026: Evercold Expansion, Evangelion Raids, and Major QoL Upgrades

At Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest 2026, Square Enix announced Evercold, the next expansion due January 2027, alongside sweeping QoL upgrades (season-style patch cadence, cross‑job item level syncing, richer character customization), removal of data-center boundaries, new and revamped jobs (Beastmaster among them) with a two‑mode system (Reborn and Evolved), a level cap raise to 110, Neon Genesis Evangelion raid content, a Switch 2 port planned for August, and an on‑going patch schedule (7.5–7.56) with more details to come at future Fan Fests in Berlin and Tokyo.
