TL;DR

Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ 3.0 update released early on Nintendo Switch (free), with the Switch 2 upgrade not yet live. The patch, likely timed to local midnights in some regions, adds content like the Kapp’n family hotel on the pier and quality‑of‑life features such as bulk crafting and a Resetti cleanup service, while the Switch 2 version will use new hardware for mouse controls and larger multiplayer lobbies.
