"Sony Expanding PlayStation VR2 with PC Compatibility and New Game Titles"
TL;DR
Sony is working on bringing PC support to the upcoming PSVR 2, aiming to offer more game variety beyond PS5 titles. The exact delivery method for PC support is yet to be specified, but it may require a custom hardware adapter due to the headset's single USB-C cable design. This move would make PSVR 2 the only recent PC-capable VR headset with OLED panels that doesn't need SteamVR base stations and controllers, potentially making it the most affordable option.
