Low U.S. adult interest in updated Covid-19 vaccine, divided along partisan lines

Only about 1 in 4 American adults definitely plans to get the updated Covid-19 vaccine, while another quarter says they will probably get it, according to a survey by the nonprofit health policy group KFF. On the other hand, 33% of adults definitely do not plan to get the new vaccines, and 19% probably won't. The survey also found that only about 40% of parents intend to get the new Covid-19 vaccines for their children. Vaccine hesitancy, lack of awareness about the need for boosters, and a rocky start to the fall vaccination campaign are contributing factors to the low uptake.
