Mahsa Amini's Death Inspires Exiled Protester's Ongoing Struggle

Elahe Tavakolian, a protester in Iran, was shot in the eye during a demonstration following the death of Mahsa Amini in September 2022. Despite struggling to receive urgent medical treatment, Tavakolian became a symbol for protesters with similar eye injuries.
