Cory Booker's Terrifying Escape from Hamas Attack in Israel

Democratic Senator Cory Booker and Representative Dan Goldman were in Israel when Hamas launched a deadly attack near the Gaza border. Both lawmakers left the country safely after the attacks began. Booker described hiding in a hotel stairwell "bomb shelter" and expressed his commitment to supporting Israel's security and working towards a long-term and just peace in the region. Goldman, who was visiting Israel for a Bat Mitzvah, also took shelter in a hotel stairwell and called for support for Israel's right to defend itself.
