Massive Pro-Palestinian March in London Sparks Clashes and Arrests
TL;DR
Hundreds of thousands of people marched in London, calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas conflict. The rally, which organizers claim to be one of the largest protests in British political history, was peaceful and avoided war memorials. However, incidents of far-right violence occurred, leading to counterprotesters being arrested. The diverse crowd included families and children, with participants expressing their desire for peace and an end to the suffering of Palestinians. Israel contends that it is targeting Hamas, not the Palestinian people.
