Israeli Hostage, 85, Confronts Hamas Chief: "Are You Ashamed?"

An 85-year-old Israeli woman, Yocheved Lifshitz, who was kidnapped by Hamas and later released, revealed that she confronted Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar during her captivity, asking him how he could act violently against peace activists like herself. Lifshitz, a peace activist who had supported Palestinians in need, was taken from her home along with her husband, who remains in captivity. She described her ordeal as "hell" but acknowledged that her captors treated her and the other hostages gently.
