Zelenskyy's Diplomatic Efforts Tested Amidst Polish Dispute
TL;DR
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy attempted to mend relations with Poland by honoring two Polish humanitarian volunteers during his return from a trip to the US and Canada. The conservative Law and Justice party in Poland has taken a hard line against Ukraine due to upcoming elections, blocking agricultural imports and halting arms shipments. Zelenskyy has focused on fostering direct relations between ordinary Poles and Ukrainians, presenting awards to a journalist and combat medic for their assistance to Ukraine.
