Alabama Woman Reported Missing Returns Home Safely After 2-Day Search

Carlethia "Carlee" Nichole Russell, a 25-year-old Alabama woman who went missing after stopping to check on a child walking along a highway, has been found and returned home after a two-day search. Russell arrived home alone and was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Her whereabouts during the time she was missing remain unclear. Police found her car and cellphone but were unable to locate her or the child she reported seeing. The investigation is ongoing.
