Rarest IMAX 70mm Experience: Only 25 U.S. Theaters Show The Odyssey
TL;DR
Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey arrives with critical applause, but only 25 U.S. venues can screen it in IMAX 70mm—the large-film format Nolan used to maximize sharpness and immersion. Those screenings are highly sought after and sell out quickly, with some fans even traveling internationally for the experience. For most moviegoers, a standard theater presentation remains available, but it won’t capture the full IMAX 70mm scope Nolan intended.
