Trump Booed While Seeking Libertarian Nomination at Convention
TL;DR
Former President Donald Trump faced a hostile reception and repeated booing during his speech at the Libertarian Party convention, where he attempted to sway Libertarian voters critical of his policies. Despite pledging to appoint a Libertarian to his Cabinet and to commute the sentence of Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht, many in the crowd remained opposed to him. The convention, held at the Washington Hilton, also featured speeches from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
