Al Hilal's €300m bid for Mbappé shatters transfer record

Saudi club Al Hilal has made a €300 million offer to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for forward Kylian Mbappe, with PSG granting permission for negotiations. Mbappe's future has been uncertain, and he was left out of PSG's pre-season tour and put up for sale. While Mbappe has the option to extend his contract with PSG, the clause expires soon, and PSG is preparing for the new season without him. Although Mbappe has expressed interest in joining Real Madrid, Al Hilal has now made an official offer. PSG is willing to bench Mbappe this season if he does not finalize a move to another club, and they are expected to accept less than the €180 million they spent to sign him in 2017.
