ASU Secures CFP Spot with Dominant Big 12 Championship Win
TL;DR
ASU football secured a spot in the College Football Playoff after defeating Iowa State 45-19 in the Big 12 Championship. The Sun Devils, with an 11-1 record, await their playoff opponent and the possibility of a first-round bye, which will be determined by the selection committee. The outcome of other championship games, such as the ACC and Mountain West, will influence ASU's seeding. The first playoff game could see ASU in the Fiesta Bowl or traveling for a first-round match, depending on whether they receive a bye.
