TL;DR

Backup quarterback Gunner Stockton led the Georgia Bulldogs to a 22-19 overtime victory over Texas in the SEC Championship after starter Carson Beck was injured. This win secured Georgia a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff. Despite Texas dominating early, penalties and turnovers hindered their performance. Stockton's unexpected heroics and a strategic fake punt were pivotal in Georgia's win, marking their third SEC title under coach Kirby Smart.
