Brandon Allen Set to Start as 49ers Face Packers Without Purdy and Bosa
TL;DR
Brandon Allen will start as quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers against the Packers due to Brock Purdy's shoulder soreness. Allen, who hasn't started since 2021, views this as an opportunity to perform well and help the team win. Despite being the third-string quarterback last season, Allen feels comfortable in the 49ers' system and is ready to step up in Purdy's absence.
