DeWanna Bonner's Future Uncertain as Fever Explore Trade and Waivers
TL;DR
DeWanna Bonner has been waived by the Indiana Fever after playing nine games, with her preferred destination being the Phoenix Mercury, where she is engaged to teammate Alyssa Thomas. Teams have 48 hours to claim her off waivers, but she may become an unrestricted free agent if unclaimed, allowing her to sign with any team, including the Mercury, which has sufficient cap space.
