Flyers launch audacious $90M offer sheet for Leo Carlsson
TL;DR
Philadelphia publicly tendered a five-year, $90 million offer sheet to Ducks center Leo Carlsson, with four first-round picks on the line if Anaheim doesn’t match. The Ducks have seven days to decide; if they decline, Carlsson would jump to Philadelphia as a 21-year-old cornerstone. If matched, Anaheim would take on a massive contract for its rising star. Carlsson, the 2023 No. 2 pick, posted 141 points in 201 career games (67 in 70 games last season) and added 11 points in 12 playoff games, making this a dramatic bid to accelerate the Flyers’ retooling.
