Hawley presses MLB over alleged discrimination after Giants' Pride Night Bible verses
TL;DR
Sen. Josh Hawley demands MLB explain what he calls a pattern of discrimination against Christians after the league warned San Francisco Giants players for writing Bible verses on Pride Night hats, arguing MLB benefits from a federal antitrust exemption while enforcing speech rules unevenly; he seeks the league’s uniform regulation, a history of warnings/punishments, and policy guidance on religious expression and Pride Night customs.
