Lions Acquire Za'Darius Smith in Trade with Browns
TL;DR
The Dallas Cowboys have acquired wide receiver Jonathan Mingo and a 2025 seventh-round pick from the Carolina Panthers in exchange for a 2025 fourth-round pick. The Panthers, in a rebuilding phase, moved Mingo, who had fallen out of favor with the coaching staff. The Cowboys see this as a long-term investment, hoping to develop Mingo's potential despite his limited production so far. The Panthers receive a decent return for a player not fitting into their current plans, while the Cowboys aim to bolster their receiving corps for the future.
