NBC Reboots Football Night in America; Tony Dungy Likely to Exit as Regular
TL;DR
NBC is reportedly revamping Football Night in America for next season, with Tony Dungy likely stepping away from his regular role after 17 years. The overhaul reportedly includes a leaner cast and possibly taking the show on the road, as contracts for many cast members expire after the Super Bowl. A future emeritus role for Dungy is also being considered, while other panel members could face changes as NBC tests a new format.
