NFL Stands by Jay-Z Amidst Legal Controversy
TL;DR
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stated that the league's relationship with Jay-Z and Roc Nation remains unchanged despite a civil lawsuit alleging Jay-Z raped a minor over 20 years ago. Goodell acknowledged the allegations but emphasized Roc Nation's valuable partnership, particularly in producing the Super Bowl halftime show and supporting social justice initiatives. The situation raises questions about potential double standards in how the NFL handles civil allegations against players versus partners.
