Utah's QB Cam Rising ruled out for opener against Florida
TL;DR
Utah quarterback Cam Rising is doubtful to play in the team's season opener against Florida due to a torn ACL suffered in the Rose Bowl last season. Bryson Barnes is expected to start in his place, with Nate Johnson also seeing playing time. Rising's absence will be a significant blow to Utah, as he has been the team's starting quarterback for the past two seasons and has led them to success. Coach Kyle Whittingham emphasized Rising's importance to the team and his leadership qualities.
