Yankees-Rays Rivalry Intensifies with Benches Clearing Incident
TL;DR
The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the New York Yankees 7-4 in a heated game at Tropicana Field, where benches cleared twice during the eighth inning. The Rays, who are leading the wild-card race, have won eight of their last nine series, while the struggling Yankees have only won one series since early July. The bad blood between the two teams escalated when several players were hit by pitches, leading to confrontations on the field. Despite no ejections or punches thrown, tensions remain high between the Rays and Yankees.
