Zach Johnson's Ryder Cup Picks: Koepka, Thomas, and the LIV Golf/PGA Tour Rivalry
TL;DR
Brooks Koepka has been selected as one of the six captain's picks for the U.S. Ryder Cup team by captain Zach Johnson. Koepka, a five-time major champion, left the PGA Tour for the LIV Golf League last year but remains eligible to compete in the Ryder Cup. The other captain's picks include Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth, and Sam Burns. Johnson's decision to include Thomas, who struggled during the PGA Tour season, has raised some eyebrows. The U.S. team will face Europe in the Ryder Cup in Italy next month.
