Amazon Introduces Passwordless Passkeys for Secure Logins on iOS and Web

Amazon has introduced passkey support for its desktop sites and mobile apps, allowing customers to log in to their accounts without using a password. Passkeys are a more secure alternative to passwords as they cannot be shared or leaked online. Users can set up passkeys in their Amazon settings and on Apple devices, they can be authenticated using Face ID or Touch ID. Passkeys rely on iCloud Keychain and require two-factor authentication for added protection. Amazon's passkey support is available now for all customers using browsers and will be rolled out to the Amazon app for iOS devices soon.
