Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 prices leaked ahead of release

Samsung may reduce the price of its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 to make it more competitive with the recently announced Pixel Fold, which also starts at $1,799. The Fold 5 is expected to have minor upgrades, including a new hinge, dust resistance, and improved camera sensors, but a price reduction could make it more appealing to buyers. The Flip 5, on the other hand, is expected to have the same price as the outgoing model, starting at $999, and will also get many of the improvements coming to the Fold 5.
