Google Maps Introduces Subtle Pin Tracking Feature

Google Maps has released a new feature that displays an indicator on either side of the map when the pin is no longer on the screen, making it easier to find the location of the pin. The new pin indicator is rolling out to users in stages and should eventually show up on both iPhone and Android. Google is also working on more big features, including the highly anticipated immersive view, which allows users to explore a specific region using a mix of aerial views, Street View imagery, and 3D models.
