TL;DR

Snap opened preorders for Specs, its consumer true AR glasses priced at $2,195 with a $200 deposit and shipping this fall to the US, UK, and France. Specs weigh about 132–136 g, offer a 51° diagonal field of view, use in-house LCoS displays, and run Snap OS 2.0 with first-party Lenses; Snap cites 7 ms latency, four hours of mixed-use battery life, and a charging case, plus developer tooling like a Native Development Kit and Lens store for monetizing content.
