SpaceX Celebrates Falcon 9 Anniversary with 20 Starlink Satellites Launch

SpaceX celebrated the 14th anniversary of the Falcon 9 rocket's first launch by sending 20 more Starlink satellites into space from the same pad used in 2010. The mission marked the 20th launch for this particular Falcon 9 first-stage booster, which has also been involved in multiple ISS resupply and Crew Dragon missions. The first stage successfully landed on the "Just Read the Instructions" droneship. Notably, 13 of the new satellites have Direct to Cell capabilities, enhancing Starlink's already significant impact on global internet access. Elon Musk announced that Starlink's internet latency is improving, with a new internal median latency record of 28ms, and expects it to drop below 20ms in the U.S. soon.
