TL;DR

Valve confirms Steam Machine prices at $1,049 for the 512GB model and $1,349 for the 2TB model (bundles including the Steam Controller are available); the company attributes the higher pricing to RAM shortages and component sourcing. Reservations run through June 25 with a randomization to determine order; shipments will be to North America, the UK/EU, and Australia, with Japan/Taiwan/Hong Kong handled by Komodo, and Korea not shipping.
