Tate Brothers Arrested in U.S.; UK Prosecution Expands Rape Charges

U.S. Marshals arrested Andrew and Tristan Tate in Miami as U.K. prosecutors announced additional rape charges against them in Britain. Andrew Tate faces seven more counts of rape, plus trafficking for sexual exploitation, assault causing bodily harm, and numerous child-sex-image charges; Tristan Tate faces one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape, and trafficking-related charges. The offenses span 2010–2017. The brothers are awaiting extradition to the U.K. and have ties to ongoing investigations in multiple countries.
