Ukraine launches mass drone raid into Russia, one of the war’s largest aerial assaults

Ukraine unleashed hundreds of drones in a strike on Russia that Moscow described as among the conflict’s largest aerial attacks; Russia says it shot down more than 800 drones and reports casualties, including six dead, with a Wildberries warehouse ablaze in the Moscow region and drones intercepted across 17 regions. Ukraine also reported strikes on Kyiv with missiles and drones and casualties in Kryvyi Rih and Sumy, while Russia continued strikes on Ukraine; the week-long barrage involved thousands of weapons, including about 1,550 drones and dozens of missiles.
