'casa SF-FR': A Dynamic Box-Like House in Argentina.

Casa SF-FR, designed by architect Mariano Ravenna in Buenos Aires, is a dynamic and flexible family home composed of several house-shaped white volumes stacked on top of each other. With the exception of the kitchen and bathroom, most areas lack predetermined functions and can alternate between a bedroom, living room, game room, or office. The house offers ample privacy on the street-facing side while complete permeability indoors, inviting intimacy and recalling the feeling of hiding ‘inward’ to protect oneself without the need for bars or wire fences. The architecture combines concrete piles with plastered hollow brick walls, smooth cement floors, and joist ceilings with styrofoam bricks.
