Canadian Government Workers Reach Tentative Deal to End Strike

Canada's government has reached an agreement with 120,000 federal workers, ending the country's largest public sector strike in history. However, more than 35,000 revenue agency workers are still negotiating. The deal includes a total wage increase of 12.6% over four years and a one-off payment of C$2,500 ($1,845). The strike had caused delays and disruptions in services such as immigration and passport renewals. The deal allows up to three days a week of remote work and will have a ripple effect on other employers in Canada.
